Srigethuk waterfall is located on the banks of the Oya River, so to get to the location we have to down the river Oya first. We have to ride a raft of approximately 200 meters. Along the way on the raft we will see a scenery of limestone cliffs and lush trees on either side of the river. The Oya River water in the dry season will be greenish and slowly flow.
This waterfall has a height of about 25 meters. The number of falls between 3 to 5 pieces of which will depend on the season. This waterfall is never dries. The water is crawling the rocks on the river bank and fell straight into Oya River basin. The beauty of this waterfall is in the flow of the branching, although it is not so high.
Srigethuk located at Bleberan Tourism Village, Gunung Kidul Regency. The route from the city of Yogyakarta, you are kindly towards Jalan Wonosari. Once you reach the intersection, turn right to Gading subdistrict of Playen. Take the path toward the District Palihan. Arriving at Palihan take a right again. If you follow the road you will find signposts of Air Terjun Srigethuk.
