Coffee Plantation Tour is a tour package that we arranged to visit Mesastila Spa Retreat and Coffee Plantation. The resort location is at Desa Losari, District Grabag, Magelang. The resort lies on an area of 22 hectares, 11 hectares of the area is a coffee plantation.
Besides functioning as a hotel, MesaStila also has various facilities such as spas, recreation areas, and a mean to learn about Javanese culture as well. Because most of the buildings at this hotel was built in 1928, during the reign of the Dutch East Indies.
Coffee Plantation Tour
The architecture of all the buildings in MesaStila Resort is a typical Javanese building imported directly from the place of origin. But the inside of the building has been equipped with modern resort facilities. As you enter the resort location, your view will be greeted by a building that has a shape of a railway station. This building is the original Mayong station from the Dutch colonial era in Jepara, which brought to MesaStila to serve as a lobby.
In the hotel area you can walk around in the gardens of coffee while enjoying the cool air. You will also gain additional knowledge about coffee, about the kinds of coffee and processing method. So far, we know that by drinking coffee will make us not sleep, you are right. But there are other benefits of coffee that is as energy enhancer, helps burn fat, and also a source of anti-oxidants in the body. You can also taste the coffee directly in the middle of the coffee plantation. The coffee plantation tour are open to the public at a cost of IDR 450,000 ++ per person including lunch and a souvenir original coffee harvested from MesaStila.

Ambarawa Railway Museum
Next destination is Ambarawa Railway Museum. The route of this tourism train is Ambarawa-Bedono vice versa, Ambarawa-Tuntang vice versa and Tuntang – Ambarawa vice versa. Ambarawa-Bedono tourism train or more commonly known as the Ambarawa Railway Mountain Tour, operated from this museum to Bedono Station. The distance is about 35 km and can be reached in 1 hour.
Tourism train ticket price is IDR 50,000 per person and lorries is IDR 10,000 per person. Rental price per train IDR 3,000,000 to Rp 15,000,000. Train Tour is scheduled at 10.00, 12.00 and 14.00.
